YOU’RE HELPING TO CHANGE THE FUTURE OF BREAST CANCER

By cycling your way, you’ll be helping us to continue to provide support for today and hope for the future for patients and families affected by this devastating disease. Every kilometre cycled and pound raised means we can be there for people when they need us most.

We won’t stop until everyone who develops breast cancer lives – and is supported to live well.

£15

Could help make half an hour of research happen. When it comes to research, every second counts, and every half an hour brings us even closer to making breakthroughs in breast cancer.

£150

Could help five people affected by breast cancer get vital answers by calling our free Helpline. No question is too big or too small and all calls are answered by breast care nurses and trained staff, so they know they’re getting information they can rely on.

£1500

Could keep our tissue bank open for a whole day. The tissue bank is a vital resource for researchers. It holds samples of breast cancer tissue for use in research projects, a crucial resource in making breakthroughs and finding new treatments for breast cancer.

TONY JACKSON

SOUTH WALES FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE

“My wife Sally was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 in her early forties, it was a devastating and difficult time for the whole family. The support we received from Breast Cancer Now during Sally’s hospital treatment was an invaluable source of strength for the family in such a challenging time.

Fundraising and raising awareness for Breast Cancer Now has been a great way to give back to the charity and it means a lot to have my colleagues support me in this. South Wales Fire & Rescue have taken part in Breast Cancer Now’s cycling challenges for several years and we are more motivated than ever to get on our bikes and fundraise for the charity when they need us most.”
